Getting started¶
Who can use the app¶
Panthera Insight is an invitation-only app. Your Panthera relationship manager will let you know once your account has been set up. You will receive an invitation referencing the email address Panthera has on file for you — that is the email you will use to sign in.
If you have not yet received an invitation but believe you should have, please contact your relationship manager.
Installing the app¶
The app is available on both major app stores. Search for "Panthera Insight" or use the direct links below.
- Open the App Store.
- Search for Panthera Insight.
- Tap Get to install.
Minimum iOS version: iOS 14 or later.
- Open Google Play.
- Search for Panthera Insight.
- Tap Install.
Minimum Android version: Android 8.0 (API 26) or later.
First launch — what you'll see, in order¶
The first time you open the app you will be walked through three short screens before you reach your reports. Each is covered in detail on its own page; the summary below is so you know what to expect.
- Disclaimer & Acknowledgement. A scrollable legal notice. Scroll to the bottom and tap Accept. See Disclaimer & Acknowledgement.
- Sign in. Enter your registered email, receive a 6-digit code by email, type it in. See Signing in.
- "Stay signed in on this device?" A quick choice between Keep me signed in (recommended for daily use) and Sign in each time. See Signing in → Keep me signed in.
After that the app lands on your report home screen.
What you'll need at hand¶
- The email address Panthera has on file for you (your invitation will reference it).
- Access to the inbox for that email address, to receive the one-time sign-in code.
- A device with a screen lock set up — fingerprint, face unlock, or at minimum a PIN / passcode. The app uses your device's own unlock method to re-open the app between sessions; there is no separate password to remember inside the app.
If you cannot access your account email
If the inbox associated with your account is no longer reachable, please contact your relationship manager so the email on file can be updated before you try to sign in. You will not be able to receive sign-in codes otherwise.
If your device has no PIN or biometrics set
The app will still work, but the "Keep me signed in" option is not available. You will be asked for a fresh email code every time you launch the app. Setting up a screen lock in your device's settings is the easiest fix.
