Quick start

Six steps to go from "just installed the app" to "looking at my report". Each step links to a more detailed page if you want the full story.

1. Install the app

Search for Panthera Insight in the App Store (iPhone / iPad) or Google Play (Android) and install it.

Minimum versions: iOS 14 or Android 8.0.

More detail → Getting started

2. Accept the disclaimer

On first launch the app shows the Disclaimer & Acknowledgement. Scroll all the way to the bottom, then tap Accept.

3. Sign in with an email code

  1. Enter the email address Panthera has on file for you.
  2. Tap Email me a sign-in code.
  3. Open the email, copy the 6-digit code into the app, and tap Verify and sign in.

There is no password to remember — every sign-in uses a fresh code emailed to you.

Important Declaration

Panthera Insight and the team will never request any pin and password from you. You should never disclose any of these, including the email verification code, even if you're seeking assistance from our end.

4. Choose how to resume

Right after the first sign-in, the app asks "Stay signed in on this device?" with two options:

  • Keep me signed in (recommended) — the next launch unlocks with your device's PIN, fingerprint, or face. Quicker for daily use.
  • Sign in each time — the session is wiped on exit; the next launch needs a fresh email code.

You can change this later in Settings → On Exit → Keep me signed in.

5. View your latest report

The app opens on your report home. The header shows the report period and your client name. From there you can:

  • Swipe up / down on a chart to switch between Holdings, Performance, Returns, Summary, and Dividend (if applicable) views.
  • Swipe left / right on a chart to cycle through your portfolios.
  • Pull down on the header to refresh.
  • Pinch to zoom in on the header data or a chart (enabled on default in Settings).

If you have access to more than one client account, use the client selector at the top left, it will be a fixed label if you only have one account.

6. Download a PDF

Tap the Download icon (top right of the home screen) to open the downloads archive. You may tap any single PDF to preview it in-app first.

Directly tap the download icon to the right of the PDF, or tick the reports you want, then tap Download selected. PDFs are saved to your device's Documents (iOS) or Downloads (Android) folder.
